Today is my mom's birthday. She is the best person in my life and I really do love her. She has put up with a lot from me in the 22 years of my life and I try to tell her thank you as much as i can for all the things she has done for me and for all the crap she has put up with from me. Well its been a long time again
Well it looks like another year has started and i really don't know where that last one went. Ready or not 2010 is here and 2009 is gone. 2009 brought many great things and some very sad things. I passed my first semester of the surgical technologist program, it almost killed me but i did it. I got a 4.0 gpa and made the presidents list again, i am very proud of that and i hope to graduate from the program with a 4.0 gpa in july. I am so excited that i will be done with the program on july 24th this year and them hopefully i will be able to have a career in the field that i love. I really enjoyed going to clinicals this last semester and be able to acutally pass the instruments and actually be part of the surgery. We lost 5 people from my class, which is very sad, but they will be able to try again next year so thats good. All the students from my class all met up one morning at Ihop for surgical tech week, it was a lot of fun to talk to everyone and get to know each other a little better. 
Brian and I have really enjoyed our first couple of months being married, and we hope to have many many more years of happiness and love. He makes me laugh all the time and keeps me sane through all of my crazy moments.

We had lots of fun times with family and friends, lots of laughs and some crying. One of brian's friends passed away this year and he will truly be missed. We love you Calahan and hope you are resting in peace. 
Well 2009 was a pretty good year and i hope 2010 brings many good things and a lot more good times. I just want to say thank you to all of my family and friends that helped me get through this last year of school and life and that i love you all.
